LOCKHART TEA TOUR

One of the well maintained tea factories from the British era, where you get to see the Orthodox tea processing (leaf tea processing). The old machines still in use, packaging of the various grades of tea and the ambience itself becomes a fascinating experience to learn more about tea. Also get an essence of the past in the museum that has antiques and history preserved. Learn more about the plantations and enjoy the landscape through a guided hike to the tea plantations.

• You can also get an experience of tea tasting program. This gives you a better insight on a tea taster’s job and the whole experience of knowing your tea better.
• Chokaramudi Trek – One of the interesting treks in Munnar, which is on the rocky terrain. It gives you one of the best views of the area. Learn more about the landscape and enjoy the scenic beauty in the adventurous way.
